Moroccan student contributes to Jiangxi’s fight against novel coronavirus

“我们共渡难关!”在赣留学生协助防控疫情

NANCHANG, Feb. 6(Xinhuanet) -- The Moroccan student Benjamin is attending the International Chinese Language program at Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. Hearing the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, he volunteered to help prevent and control the epidemics on campus with his multilingual skills.

To lower the risk of being infected by the novel coronavirus, Benjamin volunteered to purchase daily necessities for his classmates. Besides, he, together with the school faculties, visited the students’ dormitories to check their physical conditions, record their temperature and passed on knowledge about the prevention of the epidemics.

“I love Chinese culture. I want to continue to learn Chinese here. Let’s go through the difficulties together. We got this!” Benjamin said.

疫情防控工作启动后，景德镇陶瓷大学国际汉语进修班摩洛哥籍留学生本杰明，发挥掌握多国语言的特长，志愿协助学校开展疫情防控相关工作。

为降低同学们的感染风险，本杰明做起了同学们的“代购”，统一为大家采购生活用品。另外，他和老师们一起下寝室，了解同学们的身体、生活等情况，帮助做好体温登记和防疫知识宣传。

“我热爱中国文化，我要继续留在这里学习汉语，我们一起共渡难关，加油。”本杰明说。
